bangalore: it is an attempt to take the chaotic real estate market to a new level. and for that the media __ internet, print and telephones __ is being used to bring value-added information on property that is up for sale or rent on an international scale. bangalore-based propmart technologies believes it is the best way to tap the growing real estate market, created by us and european companies looking towards metros and suburbs in india as potential back office support to cut down on cost.colourful geographical information systems (gis) maps on the propmart site is one such unique technology-aided channel featuring details of the facilities available near the location in which a client has shown interest. ``the gis allows one to zoom into the maps to get a closer look at the location of schools, colleges, police stations, hospitals, bus-stops, airports, recreational centres and clubs in the neighbourhood. you also have an option of clicking on the map or on the drop-down menu to get to the city of your choice,'' says propmart ceo and managing director john kuruvilla. ``in addition, we try to help a customer with home loans, legal issues, vaastu, web architect and tax advice through our alliances. our tie-up with legal pundits, a legal and tax service provider, helps us deliver services in these two aspects of the transaction through both our online and offline presence across the country,'' he adds. kuruvilla claims propmart today has over 35,000 properties worth rs 5,000 crore listed for sale or rent and over 10,000 buyers or tenants accessing its database. in an effort to help the real estate community, property sellers and landlords market their property, propmart technologies has launched call centre services in seven major markets including delhi, mumbai, chennai, bangalore, pune, hyderabad and kochi. ``these call centres have been set up with executives trained in real estate who will access the data warehouse to give information sought by a client. so, a customer with no prior internet background, can now access details through these executives,'' says kuruvilla. added to this is an initiative __ propguide __ among india's first comprehensive real estate magazine with thousands of properties on sale and rent, as also property requirements.
